We all need help from friends during our lives. The same applies for diving. We all started diving because of our own passion but were all influenced, pushed, challenged, … by fellow divers who passed on some of their passion, knowledge and experience to us.
In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn.

On the other hand, we try to inspire and motive as well. This website is just one part of that mission.
This page has been dedicated to highlight who has influenced us as divers and human beeings.
In 1993 Vic discovered the East India trader “ The Roompot” in the North sea. A homeward bound vessel that sank in 1853 . The artifact collection of this historical shipwreck is now in the city museum in Zierikzee ( Netherlands ).
Vic is the author of 4 diving books as well as many articles in international diving magazines. He is the founder of the non- profit- organisation “wreck dive team” that is involved in diving expeditions around the world and is the driving force behind the technical diving event Tekdive Europe.
Everyone in the team knows Vic from his inspirational stories about his diving adventures, his pictures or from the books he has written. The knowledge and experience he shared and still shares with the team helps us to become better divers and still brings us to unknown destinations...!
Karl has been in many different expeditions with Vic and both Karl & Tom were part of the expedition to the Viroit cave in Albania together with Vic.
